Where are you located?

A.

We are now located at our new location – 60 Route 6A – on the second floor of the building known as Tree’s Place. If you know where the new rotary is in Orleans, you will find us there at the corner of 6A and Canal Street.

What are your store hours?

A.

We are open in season (June – August) Monday – Saturday, from 10am to 5:30pm and Sundays from noon – 5pm.  In the off season (September – May) we are open Tuesday – Saturday, from 10am – 5:30pm.   If the weather is not cooperating, please call us first at 508-255-0476.

Can you print digital pictures from my phone?

A.

Yes.  You can send your photos to us from your phone one of two ways: email them to us at zach@capecodphotoandart.com – tell us what size, finish,  and quantity you want and we will email you back when they are completed.  Be sure to include your name and phone number in case we have any questions about your order.

Or, you can download our new free app for your iphone or ipad from the app store.  It’s free and allows you to order prints directly from your mobile devices, including instagram and facebook. All you need to do is register with your email and a password – it’s free!  You can also order photo products via  your computer using our website – click on the Order Online tab from the home page.

Can you produce stretched canvas prints?

A.

Yes.  We offer canvas prints in a variety of sizes.  We can strech your canvases on gallery wrap stretcher bars in standard photo sizes, or on conventional stretchers in one inch increments up to 44″.

We can also drymount your canvas prints on foamboard for framing if you prefer.

Can you ship products to me?

A.

Yes.  If you are not near us, we can ship products and photos to you directly.  Call us for more information.

Do you do dry mounting and laminating?

A.

Yes. We can dry mount onto regular or archival foamboards.  We can also laminate up to 40″ wide on premise.

I broke the glass on a frame. Can you fix it?

A.

Yes.  You can select from a variety of custom glass that we stock – clear, uv filtering, museum, reflection control, plexiglass – all cut on premise to fit your frame.

Do you have an art gallery?

A.

Yes.  We have moved to our new location which includes The Gallery at Tree’s Place – one of America’s most prominent fine art galleries.  We represent some of the best contemporary realist artists from all over the United States.  Please plan to explore the beautiful works available at our fine gallery.

Can you make photo mugs, mouse pads and tiles?

A.

Yes.  We offer two different size photo mugs (11oz. and 150z.) – either one or two photos per mug.  We can make custom mouse pads with your photos too!  Interested in wall tiles?  We have a variety of sizes to choose from.

Do you print cards, calendars and photo books?

A.

Yes. We have a high-end Xerox laser printer that can print on a variety of paper stocks to meet your needs.  Photo cards, photo calendars and photo books in a variety of sizes and colors are available.  Most of these are produced on the same day!

What services do your offer professional artists?

A.

We can photograph or scan your original artwork for you.  We have a state of the art photo studio and professional scanners to capture your original artwork and digitize it onto a CD or Flashdrive.  If you are interested in limited edition prints, giclee’s or folded cards – we can color match and produce beautiful prints that are true to your originals.

Do you have digital cameras and accessories?

A.

We have Fuji and Samsung Cameras for sale.  We offer a complete line of pocket cameras, bridge cameras and interchangeable lens cameras for sale.  We are also a Promaster Dealer and carry an extensive line of camera accessories from lens caps, filters, tripods, camera bags, flash units, chargers and batteries and more.  All of these terrific accessories are backed up by the best guarantee in the business.  Stop by or call us to find out what we have in stock.   And, if we don’t have it in stock, we can probably order it for you and have it in a few days.

What kinds of printers and photo papers do you use?

A.

We have a state of the art Fuji Frontier Digital Printer Dry Lab (environmentally friendly) which we use for most of our photo printing.  It can print anything from wallets to panoramic prints up to 36″ x 12″.  Most of our printing is done while you wait, but usually not longer than an hour wait.  We offer either glossy or luster (slight sheen) paper choices for this printer.

We also offer wide format printing using state of the art Epson Professional Printers.  We can print up to 44″ wide by as long as you need.  We can print on canvas, glossy, luster, cotton paper, watercolor paper, weatherproof vinyl, re-positionable adhesive paper and more.  Chances are we can produce what you want all on the same day!

What kind of film processing can you do?

A.

We can process color 35mm film on premise in one hour.  Black and White and 120/220 film is sent out for processing and usually is completed within 2 weeks.

Can you archive my old prints, slides and movies digitally?

A.

Yes we can!  We offer bulk scanning services for archiving prints, slides and film negatives.  All of this work is done on the premises – don’t risk your treasured memories to the mail!  We can also transfer your old VHS, 8mm and Mini Dv tapes to DVD too – in house!

Old movie film on reels? Yeah, we do that too.  We use a service in California who excel at transferring those old family movies to DVD.  Call us for an estimate and more information.

What kinds of art supplies do you carry?

A.

We have greatly expanded the art supply offering in our shop since we purchased the business in 2008.  We are always adding new products to satisfy the local and visiting artist.  If you are just starting out, we have some wonderful starter kits.  If you are an accomplished artist, we have artist-grade paints, pencils, brushes, media and more for you to select from.  A complete list of the product lines we offer is available on this site.  The major brands we carry are also noted.  Please click on Art Supplies from the Home Page.

Do you do custom framing?

A.

Yes.  We have a gifted framer on staff – Laurie Lang.  Laurie has a terrific eye for color and will be happy to help you create a masterpiece for your home, cottage or office.  She has over 25 years of experience and is well versed in archival framing methods to ensure that you will enjoy your framed piece for years to come.

Laurie is a perfectionist and her work brings smiles to many of our customers.

We added  virtual framing to our store when we bought it.  This fabulous technology allows you to see you work framed before you buy it!  It is really a great way to do custom framing.  We can even show you up to four framing options at a time, allowing you to see different frame and mat selections to help you decide what works for you.  Come by the store with your artwork and see what Laurie can do for you!

Do you offer ready-made frames?

A.

Yes. We have an extensive collection of ready-made frames to choose from.  We carry frames from Fineline, Framatic, Malden, Dennis Daniels, Rustic Creations and more.  From simple to decorative, from desk to wall, we have you covered.

Can you clean the sensor on my DSLR camera?

A.

Yes we can!  Zach runs our lab and is a professional photographer among many other talents.  If you are seeing small grey or black spots on your photos, you probably have a dirty sensor.  Not a problem.  Bring your camera to us with a fully charged battery and we will clean it for you – usually within an hour or two.  The cost is $35.

Can you restore old photographs?

A.

Yes.  We have two very talented photoshop experts on staff who can assist you in recreating your treasured memories.  If you want to take someone out of a photo, we can do that too!  Bring your old photos in and we will give you an on the spot estimate for restoring your old photos to their original glory!
